CAMPOMARZIO9 is an artisanal shirt shop for men and women that over the years has become a reference point among Roman shops for crafted shirts. Its success was born from traditional elements: from the use of fabrics from the most important makers known for their fine quality as well as tailoring by experienced shirtmakers. In addition to traditional and tailored elements, our passion and ongoing design research distinguish us from the classic shirt shops. Thanks to our own manufacturing, we can offer a unique range of models characterised by elegance, innovation and an excellent quality/price ratio.

We are located in the historical centre of Rome, in Via di Campo Marzio 45, a street connecting beautiful Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, known for its bars and luxury shops, with the streets leading to the Italian Parliament; a street where it’s still possible to find old Roman shops and local brands. Our story starts in this street, in a tiny shop at number 9 which inspired the brand’s name. Our current location in a bigger shop at number 45 fulfills our need to better display our selection and show our women’s collection.

About us the  New York Times says: "Handmade, high-quality collared men’s shirts at accessible prices are the highlight at this bright store. The designs — a mix of casual and dressy — are relevant without trying too hard to be fashionable and are available in a wide range of patterns, materials and shades like blue ranging from pale sky blue to dark navy and several hues of green. There’s also a good selection of basic white. "

Creativity is one of the features that identifies our brand, as it’s one of the most appreciated aspects of “Made In Italy”. We design and produce exclusive fabrics, offering classic shirts with a modern and sophisticated touch. To make this possible, we have always focused on fashion trends, interpreting classic and casual collections with our distinctive style.

A selection of fine fabrics is the starting point for a quality shirt. An essential part of our work is to select smooth, easy to iron materials in bright colors which are pleasing to touch or see. For this reason, we use double-twisted fabrics from prestigious and internationally well-known makers such as Albini, Monti, Thomas Mason and David & John Anderson, including exclusive fabrics up to weft yarn count 300/2.

For us “Made in Italy” doesn’t only mean produced in Italy, but manufactured according to Italian handcrafted tradition. Fabrics are hand-cut with perfectly matched patterns, stripes and squares in the different parts of the shirt, which is then double-stitched in the handcrafted tradition. These details are usually used for bespoke services, but in our shop you’ll find it in the ready-to-wear collection. Our dedication to artisanal production resulted in our tailor (whose workshop is in the historical center of Rome) winning the prestigious “Premio Maestri dell’Artigianato” award from the Mayor of Rome in 2013.

Through our experience, we have developed a range of different fits: “classic” for the man looking for comfort, “slim” and “super-slim” for those wanting a fitted model. We also have a specialised service of custom-tailoring based on bespoke models to create a made-to-measure shirt with a small extra-cost and quick production times.

The shirt world is fascinating with its diversity of fits, collars and fabrics. We interpret it according to our style, offering a wide choice in all these aspects. In addition to traditional collars, we offer unusual and trendy models such as mini-collars, rounded, Korean, guru and Capri and a custom-tailoring service to meet the individual needs of our customers.
